Procrastination and Avoiding The Cement Shoes Syndrome by Brian Cimins

“Procrastination is, hands down, our favorite form of self-sabotage.”
Alyce P. Cornyn-Selby

Who hasn’t put something off an extra day, two, three? Who hasn’t said they’ll start training next week, next month…never. It can happen in the blink of an eye. My instructor, Royler Gracie Black Belt, Chris Savarese in Lyndhurst, NJ (http://NJBJJ.com) told me last year, “You will regret not starting jiu jitsu TODAY or tomorrow, otherwise the time will pass by fast and sooner or later, you’ll never come back”. He was right, but it’s not just about Jiu Jitsu, it’s about everything in life. Avoid the “cement shoes” syndrome and take action TODAY. Set a goal, pre-register for that upcoming tournament, visualize yourself on the podium and one of the Grapplers Quest awards models placing that first place medal, GQ Assassin Sword or Championship Belt on you.

Your Grappling Promoter,
Brian Cimins
