Today was the Tipping Point in Grappling – the Sport will never be the same again

It was one of those days, when you walk out of a meeting and know the GRAPPLING world shook. I remember petitioning with 100+ women in 2004-2005 to get ADCC to allow the female athletes to be allowed to compete alongside the men in the 2005 World Championships. Against a elitist group from the Middle East, I got them to agree to “allow” women to compete. The day I told a Sheik what to do and he said, “Ok, I agree.” It was one of THOSE types of days.
