Have you seen the film “The King’s Speech” starring Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush? It won four Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. Why did it win? My opinion: because it’s a beautiful Strategic Intervention.
It’s not speech therapy – the work was broader than that. It’s not psychotherapy – this work was more strategic and practical than that. The film is about how to strategically shift someone towards the outcome they so much want, despite their defenses, their obstacles, and even their social superiority. The film features no car chases, no romance, no drama. And at the end of this film, the audience WEEPs with pride at the breakthrough.
There is no obstacle or problem too overwhelming in life that cannot be fixed by slightly adjusting your attitude or behavior to an uncomfortable situation. Let me help you find YOUR voice.
Your Future Strategic Interventionist,
Brian Cimins
