We can all be Super Heroes to our kids, but you got to be there first with Brian Cimins

We can all be Super Heroes to our kids, but you got to be there first. Logan and Kaylee have been home sick this week but I finally got to really focus on them, just as a Dad.

Balancing our work time with family time can be really challenging. Try not to be so hard on yourself – one day they will understand that you gave your heart and soul to both career and family…and it took everything you had – and THEY ARE WORTH IT!

Working from home has always been a challenge – but I finally am figuring out how to make it work and not be the absentee, “always busy” Dad who didn’t have time for his kids.

As parents, we all must realize that there will come a day that if we work all the time and avoid our most important job of all – being parents our children will not become the same amazing people they could and should become.

At the end of your life, images of your children, wife and loved ones will flash to you, not bank statements and piles of money. I’m not saying don’t try to be successful, I’m saying don’t let the endless pursuit of fame and fortune blind you from uncovering your true purpose in life beyond the game of Monopoly that we all enjoy playing so much. Don’t be afraid to dig deep into your subconscious mind…there’s an infinite universe inside your mind.
