ENCOURAGEMENT vs. CRITICISM GAME – Please Try This Today!

+1 point for Encouraging or Positive Comments

-3 Points for Criticism, Negative or Toxic Comments

Some people criticize for unconstructive purposes, sometimes they are downright nasty. They seek not necessarily to improve but to raise their own self-confidence at the expense of another.  By finding fault or lashing out in anger at imperfections or minor “mistakes”, they strive to establish their own dominance or superiority, even if just within their own minds.  Criticism for these purposes is never constructive and nearly guaranteed to do more harm than good to both recipient and sender.

Keep your scoring private, because from personal experience, doing this publicly will only drastically increase the negativity and or create a log with notes within your phone to even avoid a false narrative or fake encouragement from the person you are practicing this with.

Also, keep tabs on your OWN SCORE throughout the day and realize the scoring is built to help us realize the level or severity of potentially seriously toxic relationships.

Be encouraged to lift others up, even as the Son of Man needed to be lifted up!

Have an amazing day and God Bless you and your family always and forever in Jesus’ name!

Your Strategy Coach,

Brian Cimins
