I loved Bruce Lee growing up and remembered reading some of his deepest memoirs and philosophy and watching several movies based on his life. He often admitted to being haunted by “nightmares” and even avoided sleep to avoid the frightening reality of his unprotected spirit within the dream world. Hollywood showed him defeating the “demon shogun” who tried to harm his son Brandon…but in reality, Brandon Lee was killed at a young age, “Son of the Dragon”.  Mark 8:36 expresses it best, “”For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?”

Have you ever suffered from bad dreams? I used to as well but now listen to “the book of Psalms” (when needed) and sleep like a baby. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”. The Word is the Sword of the spirit, the most powerful weapon against the enemy, Satan who roams around seeking those to destroy and devour. The Sword of the Spirit cuts him in half for “it is written”, the devil is a defeated foe and will depart when you resist him and trust in Jesus.

Bruce needed Jesus and to put on the full armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18 explains clearly why, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints”

I have no idea if he ever repented or knew Christ, I just pray YOU do because HELL is a real place of “eternal conscious punishment” and I don’t want you to go there, as I Fear Bruce Lee is or will be on the day of judgement when Christ returns on a cloud and calls His own to Him in the sky.

The documentary revealed his wife prepared “raw cow blood” daily. The Bible’s first prohibition against consuming blood comes in Genesis 9:2-4, where God tells Noah, “Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.” This prohibition was most likely a ban on eating raw blood (i.e., uncooked meat). For the first time, animals were an allowable food source, and God was making sure that Noah did not eat them raw. Bruce Lee drank raw cow blood every day.

Stress is a killer as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Bruce Lee was known as “The Dragon”. In the Book of Revelation 12:9, it is written, “And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Life is a vapor, our souls are immortal and eternity is forever – where will YOU spend eternity? We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the penalty of sin is death and eternity in a lake of fire, but 2,000 years ago, Jesus came to earth, to live perfectly and die righteously for eternal payment of our sins and all those who repent and trust in Him alone for salvation. Please don’t be enamored by humans who forfeit their own soul on earth for worldly success to spend an eternity in a lake of fire.

God determines the length of our lives and 160,000 people die each day, Repent and Trust in Christ alone for salvation for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
