Paul Cimins and Autism Radio Charity Visit First High School for Autism - The Children's Institute in Livingston, New Jersey

Livingston, New Jersey – Paul Cimins, Founder of Autism Radio and Host of the World’s First Family Support Radio Program, Hope Saves The Day (iHeartRadio and iTunes and streaming at: http://AutismRadio.org) visited and set up a booth at The Children’s Institute (TCI) new campus in Livingston, New Jersey for their 2013 Health and Fitness fair and open house on Friday, February 1, 2013.

In September 2012, TCI opened the Livingston campus which includes a higher learning and high school experience unlike any other school for Autism or Special needs in New Jersey.

The Principal Gina Catania and Teachers alike happily greeted and toured with Paul Cimins and Life Coach and Mindful Meditation teacher, Brian Cimins who recently launched the “Coaching for Autism” Charity Fundraising program (http://CoachingForAutism.org). Loyal listener and TCI’s resident Computer Specialist, Randall Palmer kindly assisted in loaning Autism Radio a laptop to play

The Livingston TCI school is revolutionary in their class offerings in addition to general subjects, TCI pushes the envelope further than any high school for special needs including Horticulture, Television and Radio production, Yoga, Fencing, Zumba, Martial Arts, Culinary Arts, Dance, Music and one of the best art programs on the East Coast of the United States.

Transition and Self-Sustaining programs include overnight sleep overs where students make their own beds, set the table and even make their own meals.

Paul Cimins, father of Jonathan Cimins, a 9-year-old boy with Autism set up his Autism Radio (501c3) charity booth to give away his new comic book “HopeMan” and free Gluten Free and Casein Free Recipes, Parent Support Cards and meeting and greeting some amazing new friends and members of the Autism Community. Cimins also debuted his Free Training Online Program for Cooking for Autism, check out Episode 1 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBDEPxAPNK8

TCI is changing lives and helping create a real vision of tomorrow for many families and young men and women with Autism, it is remarkable and beautiful what they’ve created.

Everyone in attendance witnessed some the beautiful and endearing relationships between the teachers and students during the most challenging adolescent years. Art by DJ Svoboda - An Amazing Man and Artist with Autism including Childrens Books Autistic Artwork

Here’s a letter of introduction from a very special friend of mine and Artist and Author named DJ Svoboda.

I met DJ and his SUPER mom at the New Jersey Autism Conference with my brother, Paul Cimins, Founder of Autism Radio. Paul Cimins and his charity, Autism Radio flew DJ and his family up from North Carolina to set-up at his booth and display his artwork. Cimins is also author of the Autism Spectrum Diet and Host of “Hope Saves The Day” on iTunes, iHeartRadio and online free at: http://AutismRadio.org

It was way back in October 2012 and had an amazing impact on my life. DJ inspired me to become a better person, father and leader in the Autism and Life Coaching world and propelled us to launch the “Coaching for Autism” program: http://CoachingForAutism.org

DJ’s making children all over the world SMILE from ear to ear with his amazing creation of ImagiFriends and Imagiville – check out his work at: http://www.myimagiville.com/

Letter from my pal, DJ:
————————–

My name is Daniel John Svoboda. I am 24 years old. I was born on September 22, 1982 in Shaw AFB, S.C. At the age of three, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder with Psychomotor Retardation. During my school years I went through some very difficult times. I was often picked on by other people and made fun of. It was from these very difficult situations that The Imagifriends were born. The Imagifriends live in a place called “Imagiville.” In this imaginary place, no one is ever picked on or mistreated in any way. They are loved and accepted for who they are. Everyone in Imagiville helps and cares for one another.

Each Imagifriend that I draw is different. They come in many sizes, colors, and designs. None of them are ever mean or cruel. They each have their own special job and purpose in Imagiville. Every Imagifriend knows that as long as they have a kind heart, it does not matter what they look like. Some of them are physically or mentally handicapped but that’s O.K.!

I want to use the Imagifriends to help the Autistic and handicapped know that they are special just the way they are. My dream is to one day write and illustrate books for children. I have also created the Imagifriends coloring book and I do “Imaginames.” That is where I create an Imagifriend out of the letters of your name and connect them. I donate a portion of what I earn to the Autistic Society and to my wonderful church, Hope Community Church.

Being Autistic has presented me with many challenges in my life. From these challenges I have learned to never give up. I want to thank the Lord for giving me the talent to draw and I want to be able to use my art to help others. Remember: “Everyone Is Special Just The Way They Are.”

Grappling Autism Launches: In-House Academy Tournament Fundraising Program to Help Desperate Families in Need

My nephew, Jonathan Cimins was born on April 16, 2003 as a seemingly healthy, beautiful blue eyed baby boy. At 18 months old, soon after his booster vaccination, his speech rapidly declined, his behaviors started becoming repetitive, spinning for hours, jumping for hours, making strange noises and even seriously injuring himself without fear, we were lost. Sadly, he’s never been able to say, “Daddy, I love you,” but his father, Paul Cimins NEVER gave up Hope. UPDATE: On May 6, 2013, Jonathan said “Daddy” – check out: http://AutismRadio.org

Cimins’ mastery in the Culinary Arts as a graduate of Culinary Institute of America and consulatations with DAN Doctors and Nutritional Experts propelled him to create the world renonwn, “Autism Spectrum Diet”, voted “best tasting gluten free and cassein free recipes”. He sought out international Autism experts and doctors, herbalists, phychiatrists, alternative biomedical treatments and most importantly, family crisis support groups throughout the World. The family support radio show, Hope Saves The Day is free on iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/hope-saves-the-day/id368234896

There was very little information available, no health insurance support and no guidance or help for families who learned their child or children had Autism. There were no treatments or hope for many of these families. The Divorce rate amongst parents of Autistic Children is 75%. With one in 91 boys being diagnosed with Autism, now is more important than ever to help raise funds to directly support families. Other Autism organizations boast “awareness” campaigns, but lack in the true families that need their help the most.

Paul Cimins and the entire family is on a QUEST to help cure and treat Autism and help the families it can potentially devastate.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Grappling Autism was founded by Brian Cimins in 2007 to help raise funds for families with AutismRadio, a 5013c charitable organization you directly helps these families, most desperately in need of support, both emotionally and biomedically to help recover their child. Cimins is the President and Founder of Grapplers Quest currently donates $1 from every competitor worldwide directly to AutismRadio and with annual donations exceeding $10,000+ annually, still just helps ONE family per year, that’s how expensive Autism can be to treat properly.

Autism Families desperately need our support.
