PARENT and Child Inspiration - If you keep pedaling, I'll keep pushing you forward, always and forever - Brian Cimins

“If you keep pedaling, I’ll keep pushing you forward, always and forever” – Brian Cimins

My 5-year-old son, Logan is starting to go on some serious bike rides including aggressive hill climbs which sometimes require my assistance. Most of the time, I’m barely pushing, sometimes he really needs me – but as long as he doesn’t give up, I keep pushing. Neighbors probably think I’m a crazy Dad, because I’m making him scream things like, “I know I can” and “I believe in myself” but I could care less. I’m helping open up the limitless possibilities within his mind over body to help him achieve real self confidence through personal achievement. I wanted to become the best coach in the world, just like every Dad can be in a Son or Daughter’s life. It’s our job to get it right, so we can set the example for our children.

Until next time, remember to be truly present with your child when spending time with them – no matter how much time you can spend, be there mentally and physically the whole time. Clear your thoughts, put away your phone, laptop and iPad, turn off the television and just be there 100% for them. If you are going to “submit” to something in life, let it be LOVE and release the racing thoughts of every day life for your own peace of mind and to be the best parent you can be.

Reading To Your Children Is Mind Expanding by Brian Cimins

Tonight, my 5-year-old son Logan begged me to stay up until his Mom got home from the Hair Salon, so she could read to him. His chosen book tonight, Hercules.

Something in my heart said, don’t argue with him about bed time tonight, just go with it and even write about this – someone will read this one day and read to their child for the first time in a long time, tonight. No pressure 😉

Hearing Lucia read to Logan, I flashed back to my father reading to me as a young boy and I remembered the amazing dreams I would experience especially from one of my favorites “Jack the Giant Killer”. I believe reading to your children massively enhances the right side of their brain, the creative thinking and visionary part of your mind. If you want to help enhance your children’s potential and enhance their creative ability – just read to them every night they ask for starters. Let them pick out their favorite book from your local library and read one chapter per night.
