NEW YORK, NY – AutismRadio, a 100% volunteer charitable organization helping families challenged with Autism since 2003 has released their first single on iTunes, “Hope Saves The Day” by Autism Radio founder and Host of the World’s First Autism Family Support Radio Network, Paul Cimins.

“Hope Saves The Day for Autism” – A Heartfelt Song for All Parents of a Loving Child with Autism by Paul Cimins – Available worldwide April 16 on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Amazon On Demand, Google Play, Spotify, Rdio and http://AutismRadio.org – 100% of Proceeds Donated to 501c3

BEAUTIFUL STORY: Paul Cimins, Founder of Autism Radio and Host of Autism Family Support Network, “Hope Saves The Day”, wrote the song as a poem in 2005 for his amazing 9-year-old son with Autism, Jonathan Cimins. The new single “Hope Saves The Day” is a truly beautiful rendition of a communication between a Father and His Non-Verbal Son with Autism. The unspoken emotional pain and suffering that many parents silently suffer in the Autism community is not addressed enough. Families stay at home because they cannot emotionally deal with the criticism or potential public outbreak. “People who don’t know what Autism is can be really cruel, we’re here to change that, bring families out of the shadows and into the Light,” commented Paul Cimins.

After support from his family and brother, Brian Cimins (http://CoachingForAutism.org), he finally produced the full song to help his son “hear his voice”, because Jonathan hasn’t spoken since his 18-month-old Vaccine booster shot. 100% of Proceeds Donated to http://AutismRadio.org (501c3) A Heartfelt Song for All Parents of a Loving Child with Autism

LYRICS:
Every time I see your smile,
I wonder what you feel.
Every time you laugh or cry,
I wonder if it’s real.
You seem trapped inside
Please help me understand
What is your world like,
I want to feel your love,
I want to know what its like to Laugh and Play,
Imagine a thought that you cannot feel,
A tear trapped inside,
Imagine a sound that you cannot make
No matter how hard you tried.
I want you to know how I’m Feeling
I want you to know How it feels to be me
I wish you could look into my World and see how I see

REFRAIN:
Hold my hand and remind me,
To Hold on to Hope each Day
Let this Song Be My Voice
And Remember Hope Saves The Day

I want to show you what I see,
What kind of Life will I have,
What’s in store for me?
Don’t be afraid,
Just Love and Hold Me
I can be all that I can be.

With your Love I can do anything.
With your Love I can see the World
Like Rays of Light Shine upon me, inside of me
There You are Right By My Side
I will Love you to the End of Time.

REFRAIN:
Hold my hand and remind me,
To Hold on to Hope each Day
Let this Song Be My Voice
And Remember Hope Saves The Day

The Story of Luke Movie Preview – Opens April 5 – Amazing Film about Autism and Life by Brian Cimins and Paul Cimins of Autism Radio

1 in 88 children are diagnosed with Autism. All of the children and beautifully gifted in their own way, but because we are just starting to uncover the mysteries of Autism and Aspergers, we are realizing how very special and unique each child or adult with Autism is. Just like no child is the same, no child with Autism is the same. Some children do not speak, some are slightly introverted, some can’t be touched, some don’t like loud noise, and a million other unique potential differences that stand out on the Autism Spectrum.

There have been only a few movies that truly captured the true essence of Autism including the Temple Grandin movie on HBO back in 2010. The Story of Luke captures the innocence, the essence, the unfiltered love, the challenges, the family healing power of a child (or adult) with Autism, and the HOPE of love – “The Story of Luke” nailed it and is a must see for anyone affected by Autism. Quite simply stated, The Story of Luke is the best Autism movie ever made and everyone will enjoy it on multiple emotional levels including laughing out loud and crying uncontrollably, especially those who truly LOVE someone with Autism. Please watch this movie to gain a better understanding of Autism’s large spectrum and how one person’s experience with life is. It’ll grow your heart to better understand the family challenges and quality of life issues for 1 in 88 children in America.

Find out more information on the movie, which launches Worldwide on April 5, 2013 – get info here:

I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Paul Cimins of Autism Radio (http://AutismRadio.org) since inception of their amazing charity that helps families challenged with Autism every day.

Many people do not know that Paul Cimins’ 9-year-old son, Jonathan Cimins was diagnosed with Autism at 2-years-old after an adverse reaction to a Vaccine. He went from 50+ words to Zero words after a 105 degree temperature and hasn’t communicated since. Paul and his family were massively challenged back in 2003 without any available information, diet, alternative treatments, supplements or special services. Paul Cimins became The Autism Super Dad, a voice for his son and the millions affected within the Autism community seeking knowledge in an open minded non-political environment.

the host of the World’s First Autism Family Support Network and program “Hope Saves The Day” on iHeartRadio, iTunes and streaming 24/7 online at: http://AutismRadio.org

Seeing this movie gave me hope for my nephew Jonathan – because I imagine him speaking one day just like “Luke” with the heartfelt emotional learning curve that comes so naturally to most people, but not as natural with some children with Autism or Aspergers. See how “Luke” heals everyone he comes into contact with, the POWER of LOVE within a child with Autism is amazing. As parents and relatives and friends, we need to support the parents and child equally, because so many parents and children with Autism live in private despair, afraid to leave the house, and afraid to face the world. Awareness of the signs of Autism and showing extra kindness and patience or being a REAL friend to someone affected with Autism can become one of the most special experiences in life.

Keep shining your LIGHT, especially for those who need it the most.

Helping Others – Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program Launched by Autism Radio and Paul Cimins

In 2011, Paul Cimins and his National Charity, Autism Radio (http://AutismRadio.org) launched an amazing “Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program” for children along with Stella Riding and the New Jersey Equestrian Center in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

From http://Wikipedia.org on Horse Therapy for Autism:

“Therapeutic horseback riding has been used to help people with autism.[3][4][5][6] Especially for autistic children.[7] This activity is said to benefit the communication, motor skills, and social skills of an autistic person. It also causes improvement in responses to verbal and external stimuli and relaxation. People with autism cannot ignore one sense and let another take over the way most people can. Instead, they see, smell, hear, taste, and feel, and think all at once giving them sort of a sensory overload that they cannot handle.[original research?] Riding a horse helps them concentrate on just the task they are doing rather than everything all at once.

Equine assisted activities work almost like a reward system. When a child with poor communication skills wants the horse to walk they have to use a verbal command to move the horse forward it gives them incentive to give that command. Also, they will begin to build a bond with the horse and also with the handlers of that horse. Although the horses are led during lessons they learn to pull the reins to move the horse to one direction or another. These could be reaching down to grab something or giving the handler a high-five. Individuals with autism will learn to interact with the horses handlers to convey to them what they want the horse to do. If they want the horse to walk they have to learn from the handler how to ask the horse to do that. Also, it helps them to focus on something outside from themselves which is a difficulty for people with autism.”

Art by DJ Svoboda - An Amazing Man and Artist with Autism including Childrens Books Autistic Artwork

Here’s a letter of introduction from a very special friend of mine and Artist and Author named DJ Svoboda.

I met DJ and his SUPER mom at the New Jersey Autism Conference with my brother, Paul Cimins, Founder of Autism Radio. Paul Cimins and his charity, Autism Radio flew DJ and his family up from North Carolina to set-up at his booth and display his artwork. Cimins is also author of the Autism Spectrum Diet and Host of “Hope Saves The Day” on iTunes, iHeartRadio and online free at: http://AutismRadio.org

It was way back in October 2012 and had an amazing impact on my life. DJ inspired me to become a better person, father and leader in the Autism and Life Coaching world and propelled us to launch the “Coaching for Autism” program: http://CoachingForAutism.org

DJ’s making children all over the world SMILE from ear to ear with his amazing creation of ImagiFriends and Imagiville – check out his work at: http://www.myimagiville.com/

Letter from my pal, DJ:
————————–

My name is Daniel John Svoboda. I am 24 years old. I was born on September 22, 1982 in Shaw AFB, S.C. At the age of three, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder with Psychomotor Retardation. During my school years I went through some very difficult times. I was often picked on by other people and made fun of. It was from these very difficult situations that The Imagifriends were born. The Imagifriends live in a place called “Imagiville.” In this imaginary place, no one is ever picked on or mistreated in any way. They are loved and accepted for who they are. Everyone in Imagiville helps and cares for one another.

Each Imagifriend that I draw is different. They come in many sizes, colors, and designs. None of them are ever mean or cruel. They each have their own special job and purpose in Imagiville. Every Imagifriend knows that as long as they have a kind heart, it does not matter what they look like. Some of them are physically or mentally handicapped but that’s O.K.!

I want to use the Imagifriends to help the Autistic and handicapped know that they are special just the way they are. My dream is to one day write and illustrate books for children. I have also created the Imagifriends coloring book and I do “Imaginames.” That is where I create an Imagifriend out of the letters of your name and connect them. I donate a portion of what I earn to the Autistic Society and to my wonderful church, Hope Community Church.

Being Autistic has presented me with many challenges in my life. From these challenges I have learned to never give up. I want to thank the Lord for giving me the talent to draw and I want to be able to use my art to help others. Remember: “Everyone Is Special Just The Way They Are.”

D.J. Svoboda
